OUGD505 - Studio Brief 1: Primary Research - Air Jordan Retro

While researching the subject of Air Jordan, and while on the Nike website I decided that I would buy myself a pair. I bought the Air Jordan 1 Mid. These are the modern day version of the original Air Jordan 1's. I took this opportunity to photograph the sneakers and the packaging.

The box:
The printed design is very simple, but in the bright red it makes it very bold and unnecessary for there to be anything else. The box is very individual and is obvious straight away for which kind of shoes are inside, unlike a lot of other branded boxes which are the same for every product.

The sneakers:
In the box there was also an extra set of laces in red and black.
From the Nike website I found the following on the features of the shoe:
My first impressions on wearing them is that they are a tight fit, but obviously meant to be this way for maximum comfort. The sole of the shoe initially feels hard, and that worried me a little as I thought it would mean they were less flexible than normal sneakers, but when wearing them, this doesn't become an issue at all. It makes them much more hard wearing than a normal sole.
